Apparently all “Living…” shows across the country have been cut, not just reduced. And only the weekend edition of “The Signal” has been cut; Laurie Brown’s weekday edition will continue.

Just to clarify — only the weekend edition of the Signal is being cancelled (Fri/Sat/Sun nights)

I know people who have worked/working for cbc (both radio and tv).

We all knew it was gonna happen as every company has been doing cut backs but it was just a matter of when it was gonna happen.

It’s so sad that they have to cut programming at CBC.

I’m really going to miss Out Front. I heard some of the most touching and emotionally evocative personal documentaries on that show. I think the combination of citizen developed content paired with professional production was wonderful.

Steven and Chris is still officially on ‘hiatus’ with rumblings of a return in the future.

Out Front was really innovative–very sad to see it go. And while I am generally sad about these cuts, I don’t think Fashion File will be missed.
